Touchstone offers a range of online services to appeal to everyone with an interest in Shakespeare, at whatever level.

Enquiry Service

A Web-based reference service is available to researchers at all levels of study. Touchstone will attempt to answer any Shakespeare-related enquiries.  We do not have the resources to provide lengthy answers to discursive questions but, where possible, we will provide suitable sources where the information can be found.  

Enquiries are primarily handled by expert staff at the Shakespeare Institute Library.  Click here to send an enquiry.

News and current awareness

The web site provides a news and current awareness service, aiming to list all significant events relating to Shakespeare studies in the UK.  This includes:

Lists of current and forthcoming UK Shakespeare and Renaissance productions

	Shakespeare Societies and associations
	Events and lectures
	Links to useful www sites
	The Traffic of the Stage: a database of previous UK Shakespeare productions, adaptations, theatre companies, and venues.

The information will be updated each month and form an archive recording Shakespeare activity in the UK.
